Kanter Sports provides full-service representation to baseball and softball coaches at the college and professional levels. 

We provide guidance on issues that are important to the individual client. Coaches have different career goals and it’s not our role to dictate what those goals should be. We simply hear client concerns, develop a strategic plan that adapts when necessary, utilize our legal skillset and understanding of the job market, leverage industry relationships, and protect our clients on their path to success.

OUR FOCUS

  • Secure contracts that fairly compensate and protect coaches for the full term of the deal. A contract negotiation is about market research, leverage, and using relevant factors in your favor. This preparation aids our clients at the negotiating table.

  • Build and maintain relationships with NCAA athletic administrators and MLB front offices that lead to opportunities for coaches during the search process. We have the foresight and communication skills necessary to build a positive rapport with administrators so the relationship between a coach and current, future, and previous employers remains productive.

LEGAL SERVICES

Transactional law services are provided through Kanter Legal for businesses and individuals in the sports industry. Services include the following: contract review/negotiation (employment agreements, endorsement deals, speaking engagements, and appearances), business entity selection, filing of business formation documents, and bylaw drafting.
